Insurance is a very complex thing when you get into the conglomerate of business Steve Irwin was into. He had several companies and organizations, he dealt with many different television station, zoos, animal organizations...etc. he wasn't like your average family who worked for a living at one job and had to pay a percewntage into health insureance...that isn't how it works when you get to the level and complexity he was.
As the one poster pointed out, yes, they were millionaires alreay, and his family will be well taken care of, as although Steve himself may no longer be with us, his companies, organizations etc will be self sustaining, and the family will be provided for.
What I don't agree with, from the previous poster is his or her's attitude about the millions the Irwin's already have and the attitude regarding others who aren't as fortunate. Steve Irwin made his money by earning it, it didn't just fall in his lap, he channeled his skill and knowledge to grow a successful organization to provide for his family...there is no reason to belittle him in death.

honestly Steve Irwin grew to become into an atheist. i assume he may be pleased along with his daughter in spite of the shown fact that with each and all of the events surrounding toddler celebrities.. consistent with danger slightly worried?? i'm specific they're very careful together with her on account that she is around unique animals. this could sound undesirable, yet i honestly desire she in no way gets injury. Even experts who understand the character of untamed animals can't anticipate their habit... Take Steve Irwins dying as an occasion.

I'm sure the family would rather have Steve than any amount of money wouldn't they... sad day when he died... not only for his family... and yes I would imagine the premium would be a lot...
But a little ironic that he was taken off by a stingray and not a really poisonous snake or a croc... bit like Rod Hull really after all those years fighting his emu he died falling off a roof adjusting a tv aerial

I'm sure his family will be fine. Life insurance money would be small compared to what he probably has in liquid assets, plus the rights to his books and tv..

I don't know if he was covered or not. But the family wants the footage of his death to be broadcast in gory detail. He probably had said to his wife at some point that in these circumstances she would get a fortune for the footage. Voila! Built in insurance payout.

First dude above, calm down and take an aspirin or something. I would assume his insurance would have been a boatload.
