I charged my psp and it says its on but da screen doesnt turn on whats wrong wit it? is there a way 2 fix it

There might be a problem with a) the backlight, if that is the case it needs to be repaired, or b) the battery pack, in which case buy a new one. How long have you had your psp? its more likely to be the battery pack if you've had it since it came out than if you've just got it. Like me.
