Description: Japan (Nihon) is the Land of the Rising Sun. The capital city is Tokyo and the primary language is Japanese (nihongo). There are four major islands which include Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu... Having actually travelled there myself I personally think it's pretty cool. ;)

Now onto the 2nd part of the question... Products:

Karaoke (aka: Kerry O'Kay), Nearly all video game consoles not made by Microsoft, Walkman, Aibo the robot dog, Toyota cars and Scions (whatever they are), Honda cars and motorcycles, anything by Mitsubishi, Suzuki vehicles, Canon cameras and printers, Epson-Seiko watches and printers, Casio watches and cameras, Gamakatsu fishing hooks, Shimano cycling gear and fishing equipment, Daiwa fishing equipment, Pokemon whatever it is, Tamagotchi also whatever it is, Asics sportswear, automatic rice cookers, futons, paper lanterns (except the Swedish ones at Ikea), Oni masks, the sword made by Hattori Hanzo in Kill Bill...

They have Pritz, oh baby are they good they are sticks with like flavoring on them but nothing sweet... for Japanese they eat nothing sweeter than marmalade and even that is too sweet for them. One of my favorite things about america compared to Japan is that we have some tasty milk... mmmm good but they have some nasty tasting milk. However on the flip side they have Pritz you can serve them anytime as a snack they are great they are made by GLICO I esepecially liked the tomato flavored Pritz. They have cheese pritz, salad pritz all sorts of good ole pritz. They are awesome.
Now on to our next item you said simply to describe a product from Japan. well let me try and describe Natto maybe non I really like Natto but nobody else does. Fermented soybeans in a styrofoam box with a side of mustard and soy sauce. Also gyoza are little chinese type vegetable filled burritos but dinky sized. more chinese i guess. then there is the foamous Calpis yeah say it again Calpis it sounds like cow piss but it tastes good and you got to try some Calpis drink. Or ramune there is a link for a recipe of calpis drink down below the 2nd one.How about vending machines that sell umbrellas and batteries those are products i guess. I saw some purple liquer once and tried some too terrible stuff. Maltz is a Japanese beer by Suntory. Also some of the best stuff is this stuff called kappa ebi sen its great but you'll be addicted quicker than ... but it takes a while but as for me I love it all, especially the Uni, at first it straight tasted like poop but then you develop a liking to its particular texture and it also now makes my mouth water. Kuru Kuru zushi or Takoyaki or Udon or lots of food stuff the only problem for me is they dont have enough peanut butter, and there milk sucks. They have aussi beef however, that is a big item over there. If they just had some Doritos too but they have lots of kashi style items like senbei very good stuff made everywhere but doesnt come close to mochi. Mochi is rice that has been pounded about 1 trillion times so that it is like playdough and you eat it very good but it has been known to choke older people because even though you chew it it doesnt dissolve really and gets stuck in their throats about 1 in 10 elderly people die that way every obon. Juist kidding
