i have missed 5 days of my period.i took home test,and quickly two lines was shown but the second line is fainter than the first line .do you think that i am pregnant for certain?if i am pregnant what the next?

It doesn't matter if the line is faint. The test detects the pregnancy hormone. If it registers at all, you are pregnant. Congratulations. If this was planned, way to go, if not, I know this can be scary, the important thing is to take care of yourself and your baby. Treat yourself like you are pregnant for a few days, for example, go get some prenatal vitamins and abstain from drugs or alcohol, then take another test in about 4 days. If you get another positive, schedule an apointment with an ob/gyn. Good luck to you! Children are the best thing in the world. It is rough sometimes, but the good immeasurably outweighs the bad.

If the pregnacy test you took says that two lines means your pregnant but one line is fainter then the other line, odds are you are pregnant. I have had 3 kids and those test are pretty damn accurate. Wait a few days and take another test, or go to the doctor and have a blood test done. Only my opinion.

2 lines no matter for faint are still 2 lines. I wouldnt say for 100% certain but it looks like you are pregnant. What I would do if I were you is go out and get another test to be sure and if its positive then call your Dr and make an appointment... a lot of Dr's won't see you before 12 weeks though.

Yes, you are. The same thing happened to me. I took the test in the morning first thing again and the two lines appeared darker. I made an appointment with my doctor to get a blood test done and I am now basically waiting for twelve weeks to come. They let me know a few things about diet, rest, exercise etc etc.

I'm a nurse. You should always have your doctor follow up, But, technically, it's almost impossible to get both lines to show up without a trace of pregnacy hormones in your system. This also depends on if you are currently on any kind of medication or had a recent pregnancy/miscarriage, including ovulation therapy. Best advice wait two weeks and re-take test.

you probably are. the directions tell you that the pregnancy line may be faint but if you see it you are. I'd schedule an appt to see the doc and they will confirm. You can also take another test if you are that uncertain and take it in the morning.

yes even if the line is faint ,so next ,go to a doctor for a blood test to confirm pregnancy and work out best health plan and due dates ,I hope the baby is good news,but even if it isn't see the doctor and go from there.

Sounds like you are, you may want to take another test first thing tommorow morning or make a doctors appointment.

yes you are my wife did tht she had solid line and faint line its just the pregnancy homones starting to show up couple days take another one and u will see line darker and more clearly.. but you are pregnant congrats and good luck on being mom
