It's probably not something scrubbing hard will take care of, in fact it may become worse. Sometimes covered areas which sometimes rub against themselves like armpits, especially with moisture, tend to darken the skin in those areas.and even shaving can cause this condition, especially when done with a duller razor.....the rubbing of the skin causes skin damage and you will probably have to go to a beauty supply store and try lightening creams and moisturizers to return your skinto it's normal color.. or you can ask your doctor for medical advice. Perhaps it could be a treatable condition with the right medicine and skin care lotions... Good luck!

Don't listen to these ignorant comments. Scrubbing isn't going to make much of a difference since it has nothing to do with being dirty, but rather hyperpigmentation. I recommend using a skin lightener. They got a lot of different Asian skin lighteners out there, which works for other people of color. I suggest that you don't use anything with hydroquinolone in it thought, since it is carcinogenic and it really doesn't work for people with darker skin tones.

don't scrub too hard though, it'll just make it worse. Use a scrubby sponge to get off dead skin, but go easy. Shave your underarms, then put on a ton of lotion when you get out.

1. Stop shaving, instead use sugar wax. It will reduce the number of growing hair.
2- Don't ever use deoderants!! instead use usual saop and water to wash whenever you feel your underarms smell (like washing your hands when dirty).
3- use talc powder (baby powder is hte best).
