they are not that bad. the outline doens't hurt very much. if you are getting alot of coloring though on the inside, that get's kind of painful because it feels like they are going over the same place over and over. at the end it feels like you were stung by a bee and it's kind of sore. but it's worth it when you get to pull the bandage off and see how awesome it looks!

It really depends on how you deal with pain.
Some say it hurts like crap some people say they didn't feel nothing really!
Mine was painful I have 9 tatts and I can handle pain pretty well. I can say that the inside of your body & back & neck, are where it is the most painful areas I have been told and some of my tatts are inside and hurt a bit but enough I could deal with it.
Best thing is go for it if U want one bad enough and get it over with...Good Luck :o)

on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the kind of pain that you'll pass out from... I'd give it a 7. I had to sit, bent forward for an hour and a half for mine, I think that hurt the worst.
Theres a lot of nerves on either side of the spine, and the needle hitting them sends pain down to your toes. Pain is weakness leaving the body though... so suck it up.

Every person's pain tollerance is different. One person may say it hurt tons the other may say it doesnt hurt at all..
Personally, if feels like someone keeps tapping the same spot over and over again. Sitting in that chair for a while can hurt (just cause you get bored and tired).
One key make sure you keep yourself occupied...reading, watching TV, talking to someone... And keep breathing, if you dont you will pass out.

I have had one a year ago, and it was kinda stressing but not THAT MUCH...
you feel more the pain when they fill with colors a surface... but as soon as it's finished you stop feeling any pain and it only feels like a little sun tan

Mine didn't hurt at all, but my friend said she almost passed out from it, that she had to stop for a while then let it start back up.
The lower back is where all the nerves meet up.
Its a 50/50 toss up.

Mine didn't hurt at all. It was more annoying than anything. It was uncomfortable having to sit there for an hour while they done it. But I went back and got another one a month later on my right hip.
