Many people find that the usa has forced itself to be the "big brother" of the world. When theres something the usa don't like, they jump in to "force" others to do as they are told.
So they automatically become a "priority" target for terrorists.

As for living in the usa, many consider it better then where they are, a land of opportunities.

What freedom?

Do you think you are free just because you can take your car and go almost anywhere?
Is the right to buy yourself gadgets you don't really need indeed freedom?

Freedom is something different.

Freedom is to live in a society where you are not spied upon. Freedom is to meet your elected officials and express your dissent with their actions.
Freedom is to have a president who doesn't order demonstrators to be herded off into "Free Speech Zones" away from cameras so he is not bothered by them and they do not get any press coverage.
Freedom is to have a government that is a good world citizen.

Do you really think you are free? Think again.

This is the thing I don't understand. All I hear is that Americans are racists are terrible etc. But, everyone from the other countries want to come live in the U.S. with all these terrible people. You'd think if they wanted to live in the U.S. they'd like the people and everything it stood for.

Why does the U.S. want to accept people into out country that hate us? Does that really make any sense? For every person who says that they hate the Americans, all the more reason for them to stay out of our country as far as I'm concerned.

Would you invite people into your home that say they hate you and everything you stand for? It's the same for the U.S. Why do we even think of letting people into our country that hate us. Makes no sense to me. They may be jealous of our freedom, but if they want to come live with us, they should be willing to become one of us and love our country, not hate us and love their country while they are here.

While they may not like our idealogy or leaders, they do like the fact that there are not only jobs but high paying ones in the U.S. compared to where they live. The standard of living in the U.S. is much higher here than anywhere else. Plus, we have more good colleges than anyother nation, thus giving immigrants' children better opportunities for wealth.

Yep... sour grapes!

Can't handle the fact that the US is better than other countries and are always comparing how much better it is in their own country... but always give the excuse they are here (or want to be here) for the money.
