I have heard of no plans for Letterman to retire soon. But he should definitely consider retiring from his talk show and moving on to something new. Right now, Leno is beating Letterman in the ratings. In four years Conan will take over. And Conan is so much more entertaining than Leno. Letterman should move on before Conan arrives or things will look very bad for Letterman.
