This is a very elementary question, though vague.
The answer is that the nature is similar to the image formed by the following:
(1) overhead projector (2) slide projector (3) LCD projector.
If you STILL do not know the answer, you should look at your notes or in your textbook.

Btw, the answer from "dhamodharan s" is wrong.
1. An image CAN'T be both "real" and "virtual" at the same time.
2. And the last time I checked, the image also wasn't "small in size".

Nature of image is real.
Every picture is still and in continuity as there is a time interval between two still image is very less.
It is 1/16th of a second. So you will feel the image is continuous.
It may be a smaller or bigger depends on the the projector/any other media than the real one.

Its nature is in two dimensional view of the picture portrayed by the projector from the film made from the camera which copied the image from its original three dimensional source. (whew!)
