ABSOLUTELY NOT! Most especially for you who survived military life, if you didn't develop the proper military attitude after that, then you would have had copped out of life itself.

College life is all about learning, primarily on your own and from your instructor. Maybe you didn't do well in high school but you did well enough to hurdle the physical and mental training requirements to be a soldier. You are well-prepared for college.

Just a note: In the military, you always have a buddy whom you would trust your life with. In college, you won't find one like that, you're on your own. But rest assured, you'll survive.

I suggest going to a community college and getting an associates degree. Or in the community college, you can finish your pre-reqs and transfer to a university. However, to do that you need to maintain good grades. But with lots of hard work, it is possible. There are a lot of tutors available when you need help. Also, instructors love it when you go to their office hours to ask questions or have comments. Hope this helps. As long as you do your best, you can finish college, whether it's an associates degree or a bachellor's degree. Remember, think big!!! :)

College is hard if you make it hard. If you don't go to class, don't do the work, don't do homework don't study, and do frequently waste time/drink/do drugs it will be hard. But if you do go to class, work, study, do homework, and balance your time right plus only occasionally at the most use substances, it should be pretty easy. Also if you need help don't be afraid to ask for it. Ask a professor for extra help when she or he is available and/or ask a student you know who is good with the work.

I was out of school for thirteen years and went back and got my degree. I think college was much easier because it is a want to case instead of a have to like elemntary and high schools.

It is actually more difficult since you have been out of school for that long. Maybe It would be a good Idea to first do a highschool course first to prep you for college. i wouldn't just jump straight into college.

Good lock

I think if you have the drive and commitment to go to college and graduate, then you should do fine. That's the most important aspect of success in my opinion.

Yes it's hard. But if you stay focused, you can do it. There are refresher classes. It is never too late to go back to college.
