my son has dyslexia . it is a disability with the brain . there brain does not comprehend like a persons brain that is not dyslexia . they see numbers and letters back wards upside down kinda like looking at a puzzle all messed up . they can't tell the difference from left or right . if i say to my son the bathroom is on the right he has no ideal where the right side of the wall is . they write in perfect mirror fashion . meaning everything they write is written back wards. like the word backwards he would write it this way (sdraw kacb ) now if you placed that word in front of a mirror you would see it says back wards . being dyslexic is a mystery . and its most common in boys than in girls. and most dyslexic people are like my son Left handed people. and they are very smart intelligent people . but there disability makes life for them hard at times. but they can over come this . they can learn to read and write . but its a very slow process. hope i helped to give you more insight about this.

Dyslexia is a condition which causes difficulty with reading and writing. In addition, it is a learning disability that is likely present from birth. It is defined as a difficulty in reading and writing in spite of normal development of intelligence, cognitive and sensory abilities.

note this:
there are different kinds of dyslexia. The main thing they all have in common is that every dyslexic is a slow learner.
