I herd he died today. I believe that he died doing what he loved the best. The man done alot for wild life. My hats off to him. Anyone watch his show?

Yes, it's a shame. He did have some great programs. Now it's back to boring Jack Hannah who is smart enough to stick to baby animals.

I must say, I was extremely touched by the news. He was such a joy to watch, and to see his love and joy for what he did seem to be a bit contagious. It made you take a little more pride in whatever you learned about the animals.
My heartfelt prayers go out to the family as well as a country that will greatly miss him. He put them on the map. He knew the risks he took every time he did something. His love and passion was for what he did best, and he did it to the end. God rest his soul!

RIP Crock Hunter. I think no other man in our time worked harder to bring the plight of animals and conservation to our attention. May the man Steve Irwin be remembered as A propnent of animals and nature.

Yes, I loved him. He was fun to watch and also very smart about his wild life. I am really wondering what his wife is going to do without him. They loved each other so much. I also wander if she will keep the zoo open in his honor.

poor guy, left behind two little ones and his wife. It's said, and it wasn't even a croc that got him.
I like how much he cared about animals. I think he instilled int in his kids and hopefully them will keep up the good work.

yeah. its pretty sad. i mean, even if you didnt like the guy, he had a family, and it was such a freak way for him to die. especially seeing as he's had encounters with much more dangerous animals on a regulare basis, and a stingray, which is typically harmless, was the cause of death.
