HP 6 SPOILER SO DO NOT READ MY ANSWER IF YOU DON'T WANT IT RUINED!
In Book 6, yes Snape uses Arvada Kadavra on Dumbledore. He's still working for Voldemort. Harry's on the balcony at Hogwarts when he's put under a curse or spell by Dumbledore making him unable to move. I forget the name & the book's not handy or I'd look it up. It lifts as soon as Dumbledore flips over the railing, dead from Snape using one of the 3 Unmentionable Curses. There's a funeral for Dumbledore on the grounds of Hogwarts. Harry vows to catch Voldemort himself.

Well I personally don't think dumbeldore is actually dead! It seems to easy, I mean think about it dumbeldore TRUSTED Snape, if u think back to the first book (Harry potter and the Philosopher's stone) snape knew about the stone he knew where itwas hidden and he helped dumbeldore keep it safe so why didn't her just help voldemort then and give him the stone whe professor quirell failed? In the third book snape helps dumbeldore once again by making those potions for professor lupin, yes he does attempt to make the students realise that professor llupin is infact a warewolf but he never actually does anything himself to hurt people he's crafty yes but i don't think he is evil! Also I just rememberd in the first book when quirill is doing that spell on harry during quiditch to make him fall of the broom snape is helping harry and doing the countercurse, why would he do this if he was on voldemorts side? In the 5th book he is apart of the order of the phenix which is there to track down voldemort and keep harry protected from him surely if he wanted he could have turned harry in to voldemort then! Yes snape doesn't like harry but thats because he was teased by his father when they were in school not because he managed to defeat voldemort! And now in the last book (half blood prince) he makes that unvreakable curse, now this is what i didn't fully understand snape would never be dumb enough to make an unbreakable curse with malfoys mother, he only thinks about number 1, he doesn't care if malfoy dies or anything else he wouldnt make a unbreakable curse to save someone who means nothing to him life! Yes he favours malfoy as a student but he wouldnt make an unbreakable curse for him! What I think happend is something like the order of the phoenix was still in action! I think dumbledore had made a plan with the rest of the members of the order of the phoenix (or something along those lines) of what they would do! Snape is a double spy he has made out to the malfoy's that he is on their side with voldemort however he is infact on dumbeldores side only pretending to be on Voldemorts side so he can spy for dumbeldore, so snape found out from malfoys mother that draco is going to kill dumbledore for voldemort so he tells dumbledore of the news dumbledore being the good wizard he is does not want draco to suffer azkaban for killing someone and for helping voldemort so they plan the FAKE unbreakable curse they have already planned that snape will kill dumbledore only he will not really be killing him, it will just seem like he has killed him to everyone else! The reason harry is not told about the plan is because if u remember Voldemort can read in to harrys minds he van hear his thoughts so in order for voldemort to believe that dumbeldore is infact dead harry has to believe it too!
So there u go that s my theory!

What don't you understand? Why Snape killed Dumbledore? He is a Death Eater! He is a Half-Blood that has a hang up about his parents (because his dad was a Muggle) just like Voldemort. He has probably hated him all along and resented having to work for him and act like he was really loyal. He called him a "Muggle-loving fool" and I'm betting that is what he really believed.

He's an *** if that's what really hapened. I sure hope not. I think Dumbledore was to great of a wizard to be killed that way. Hoodwinked my a stupid fake necklace? Whatever... I think it was set up for some reason. I can't wait to read the next book and see the next movie. But I'll be disappointed if he really died after all...
