Well, geez, you only broke your foot?!?! It's not like you broke something important, say, a leg! Get off your lazy butt and get busy! He obviously needs your help after a hard day at work bringing home the bacon. I hope for your sake that the house is clean and dinner's on the table when he walks through the door! You SHOULD feel bad, ya load! Geez! You want some cheese to go with that whine???
And we're not jerks, we're pigs.
You got a bad one.
And for those of you who are a little "slow", it's called sarcasm.
Get him back by hiring a maid that HE has to pay for. Or move in a relative he can't stand to "help out" for a while. Good luck!

That's quite a stereotype to put on all men. Although, I have to disagree with you. I understand that you're upset. Not ALL men are like that. If my wife hurt herself, I'd pamper her and take care of my children myself. Sounds like the guy you're with needs to grow up and become mature. Selfish is more what comes to mind. Perhaps he's use to you doing everything and he takes it for granted. I'm honestly sorry for how you feel and hope that all women wouldn't judge one man's actions against every man. It would be like saying if one woman's an easy whore they all women are. I would never say that, I'm just making a comparison.

i have ruemetoid arthritis and it is slowly crippling me and my husband didnt understand or was just being stubborn but i just talked to him and told him how I felt. there are just trials that we go through, so its not really being jerks they are just learning how to deal with these trials im guessing... i have two kids and i know how you feel if your marriage is ment to be, and you are soulmates you will work it out with your spouse we all have our moments anyways if we were perfect we wouldet be here we are here to learn so we can be perfect so give your spouse a break if he keeps making mistakes i bet hed do the same to you be patient

Ignoring you commentary and answering your question it simply that some men are still seriously lagging in the evolutionary scale and are still in the Cro-Magnon era of development.

not all men are like that!!!!!!!!!
sorry you found one that is.
You have the power, although your not using it.
harness your strength and demand help. If you allow yourself to be abused it will continue to get worse. you deserve to receive at least as much love as you give. nuture yourself until you get nurtured. love and hugs be with you!
