There is a situation where the Messenger Screen will pop up even if you are NOT signed in. After you sign in, click on the Messenger tab at the top of the Messenger with Voice screen. Then click on Preferences in the list that comes up. Under general at the top, you will see a box that says when I start up my computer, automatically start Yahoo Messenger. If that box is checked, the Yahoo Messenger screen will pop up. If you do not want the screen to pop up, uncheck the box. Try it and let us know how you make out.

If the YM is in your start up list then the messsenger screen will pop up every time you will start your computer. Go to preferences and uncheck the startup option.

initiate menu, run- variety in msconfig, this would open up a panel on exhibit screen. pass to the tab that asserts startup =- the following you could deselect products that you do not opt to load up whenever you initiate your pc. merely be careful now to not change off your antivirus or firewall.
