Man I hope so...unfortunately, as long as pure stats play too much a role in HOF selection, Stabler might be overlooked...his numbers don't put him in the echelon...but his overall play (didn't call him the Snake for nothing...think about it in the good sense of the word) should at least earn him a good look one of these days...

Of course not, he was a Raider. Ray Guy,best punter of his era, not in. Jim Plunkett, won 2 super bowls,not in. Raiders players seem to be held to a higher standard than others.

Very good QB--but i don't think he was popular or did enough to get into the hall---Hope i am wrong-but i doubt he makes it!
