If your family made you feel used and unappreciated to the point where you started hating them, would you leave them to save your soul?

The soul is the gateway into who you are and if your own personal identity is at stake...I had this and even though I had no children, I did leave. It took me about 4 years to repair and reclaim my soul.
If you had not used the word "soul", I would have suggested counseling. Not here. Feeling unappreciated and used destroys you sense of self-worth and leaves you emotionally homeless.

Being a mom and wife often times means you are used and unappreciated. If you hate them, it really is something you need to work out b/c you made the choice to marry and bring kids into this world. My grandmother ran away and left my mom and aunt behind. I cannot stand her and will never forgive her (she has never asked for forgiveness from my mom) b/c she is so selfish and I consider her subhuman to this day. I have no empathy for her.
Unless you are physically in danger or being emotionally/verbally abused, I would not suggest you leaving b/c you will pay. You may save your "soul", but it will be tortured in the future. You need to see a doctor (psychologist) to figure out why you hate your family. I think it goes far beyond how THEY are acting.

That hardly sound like a danger to the soul. If the father and/or kids were demons, that would be a different story.

I think you really need to seek counseling .... and also a good heart to heart talk with your husband.

well i would say that i would leave my husband , thats for sure but NOT MY KIDS they are my life and i would have no clue what to do without them... there's no if and but about that

you need to seek mental health help. you may need to leave your husband,but not your innocent children maybe you should have thought about this before your helpless children were born.
