Ok I'm not great, but I am helping to raise funds to build an orphanage in Africa in a town where over 200 childrren's parents have died of aids. It is my main focus at this point. Though a sinner, I have felt the calling to do this.

I've tried starting a charity fund at school for the Pakistan earthquake relief, but it only yeilded forty-two dollars. I guess people just don't care enough about the world these days. But when I grow up, I'm going to take all my money to India to provide food, shelter, education, medicine, and the Good Word of course. I'm talking about the Bible.

I have certainly tried.
I advise a high school community service group that is part of a larger international organization. I want to teach the students that any contribution makes a difference and what they have to offer is enough to change someone's life. Too many people are paralyzed by the idea of being "just one", and therefore ineffectual. This international service organization teaches kids that they're not alone in their desire to help, and that they are not working alone.

I always try to help everyone that asks for my help, I teach others the things I know for free, I'm always trying to convince people not to throw garbage out on the streets and to think about the environment, to go out and vote, etc. I actually don't think I'm doing as much as we all should.

I talk about (and do things about) environmental protection, rehabilitation...like we need to dump the combustion engine as it exists now. We are slowly killing ourselves with polluted air. Surely, we can all see this. We just don't want to do something as we are so dependent on autos and prob seems insurmountable. I say we can solve this prob. Engineers, etc can invent the next phase.

I raised two healthy, happy daughters, who are making a difference themselves. I decided years ago that I would not be a certain kind of person and that I would have children and give them a childhood they could remember fondly.

I make fun of tool bags like yourself and feel good about myself. I hope that others get a chuckle from this too. Little steps, little steps.

I have taken responsibility for my own actions instead of expecting that someone else do it for me.
