Hmm... I don't know what I went as on my first Halloween, but I know when I was 3 I went as a cheerleader. My sister went as a skunk when she was 2, and that was adorable, and on my brothers first Halloween, he was a pea pod.

I am pretty sure that I will dress my son as Darth Vader for his first Halloween.

Try this link: it's the site that I will order his costume off of, and it has all kinds of nifty costume ideas, everything from a pumpkin to a lobster to a knight.

I feel the same way - Its My daughter's first Halloween too - Its so exciting with all the "Firsts" she has had this year
I think I have decided to dress her as a Hula Girl - I am going to go to a Party/costume store & buy a child size grass skirt (I may have to cut it down a bit)
& buy the child size -coconut bra -LOL, & the little Flower Lai's
I will get a Onesie & dye it a tan color so that she will have a shirt on under the costume & it will took like she doesn't -LOL
We live in Florida so it will still be warm- I will also have a diaper cover on her to underneath the grass skirt
That is unless I choose something else at the last minute -LOL

I got a really cute home-made bunny costume from my sister-in-law. Her 2 sons wore it as well on their first Halloween. Then I used a little bit of face paint to make a nose and whiskers. Have fun! Enjoy the days while your child is young! they grow SO fast. My son just turned 15 and feels he is too old to dress up for Halloween.

I dressed him up as a lion. He won a contest that consisted of contestants between the ages of 6-10 he won 1st place and wasnt even one yet (OR there for the contest lol we just dressed him up to go)! LOL .... maybe make her a cupcake or strawberry shortcake (character) or a care bear .... awe make her a sunflower and paint her little nose black awe that'd be cute. Good luck :)

Look up costumes by Tom Arma, they are the absolute cutest baby costumes.

Well, my son's first costume was a white rabbit and my older daughter was Alice.

Her 1st costume was a tiger or something, they didn't have such cute costumes back then.

This will also be my daughter's first Halloween, and she will also be 8 months old. I am thinking of Minnie Mouse, but not certain yet.

when i was little(it wasn't my first halloween but whatever) i was a pumpkin and my parents (and me b/c i've seen the pics lol) thought it was just adorable! i'm 16 now and my dad still calls me pumpkin as a nick name b/c of that costume!
it's just a great traditional kind of costume and nice for a first halloween. :)
