Yes, stigmata is the word. The cut under the rib cage comes from when a roman soldier pierced his side to see if he was still alive. This spear, called the spear of longinus, was one of the holiest of all christian relics, if indeed it did exist.

No, even whilst human beings yawn i don't. i like to play a game with my friends the place somebody will yawn and we observed who yawns first. I in no way often win until i'm sick with a chilly through fact i'm getting so drained it fairly is as though I stayed up an entire week with a wink of sleep.

The wounds that were left in Jesus' hands and feet by the nails that were used to hold him onto the cross are called stigmata, and a person who bears such marks is called a stigmatic. They are also said to manifest on people who are extremely devout - many of them have been canonized as saints. The first well-documented case of stigmata appearing on the body of a person is that of Saint Francis of Assisi, though he is certainly not the only one to have such marks on him. Other saints - a majority of them female - are said to have become stigmatics.
The most famous comtemporary report of a stigmatic whom the Church accepts as being real is Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, or "Padre Pio" as he was known to some.
As for the wound in Jesus side, that was reputedly made when a Roman soldier cut him in the side as he lay on the cross. That soldier, who was said to have been blind in one eye, miraculously recovered his sight when some of Jesus' blood dripped into his blind eye. According to legend, the name of the soldier was Longinus, and his spear, now known as the Holy Lance, Spear of Longinus or the Spear of Destiny, is said to be the most holy of Catholic relics.

When simular holes form on devout believers its called stigmata but when its actually made its called torture. The cut on his chest cavity was to release the liguid buildup in his lungs so he wouldn't drownd too soon, thats also called torture.

the word is stigimata for the marks on his hands and feet. It's also used when someone experiences it themselves.

DTB What do you care? If they can't prove it happened, you prove it DIDN'T.
There are way more important things to call a hoax than the wounds on an executed man.
