The Allegra-D and Zoloft both can have a side effect called dyspepsia (dys-meaning hard or difficult and -pepsia meaning digestion) this may be the cause of the heartburn. Both medications should not be taken with alcohol.
Here are some self home care remedies that may help. Good Luck.
~Avoid large meals.
~Avoid caffeine (coffee, teas, some soft drinks).
~Avoid foods or drinks that reduce pressure on the lower esophageal sphincter such as chocolate, peppermint, caffeine-containing beverages, and fatty or fried foods.
~Avoid foods that damage the esophagus such as spicy foods, citrus fruits and juices, tomatoes and tomato sauces.
~After eating, beware of activities that force acid back into your esophagus. Such activities include lifting, straining, coughing, bending over, and wearing tight clothing.
~Use gravity to your advantage. Avoid lying down within 3 hours of meals. If you suffer from nighttime heartburn, elevate the head of your bed when sleeping. Place 6-inch blocks underneath the head of the bed, or place a wedge under the mattress. Simply using more pillows under your head will not help. In fact, it may worsen the heartburn by increasing the pressure on your stomach.
~Lose weight if you are overweight.
~Stop smoking.
~Limit alcohol intake.
~Antacids such as Maalox, Mylanta, Tums, or Rolaids can also be helpful. Antacids work by neutralizing acid. They should be taken 1 hour after meals or when heartburn symptoms occur.
~Low doses of drugs that block the production of stomach acid are available over-the-counter. Some examples include cimetidine (Tagamet), ranitidine (Zantac), and famotidine (Pepcid).

Heartburn occurs when the food and digestive juices in your stomach accidentally flow backward into your esopahagus, the tube which connects your throat to your stomach. Doctors call this gastroesophageal reflux, and it's sometimes accompanied by involuntary belching.
Take your meds with plenty of water. Don't lie down right after swallowing a pill. Stand or sit up when taking meds so gravity can help the pill get to your stomach. These precautions are even more important if you're taking theophylline, calcium channel blockers, progesterone, potassium chloride, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Use moderation when you eat, also don't bend over immediately after a meal. 4 - 6 small meals a day may sit easier on your stomach than 2-3 large meals.
Don't lie down for at least 3-4 hrs after eating. With your body in a horizontal position, it's much easier for food to go into reverse and give you problems.
Coffee and other drinks with caffeine tend to irritate your stomach lining. Alcohol, tea, chocolate drinks and lemonade all caused reflux. Only the fattier milks caused heartburn; skim and soy milk seems safe.

I am not familiar with Princess house sauce pans. I do know in moving out of base housing we had to have every thing looking like new. We would use ammonia and put the drip pans from the stove and bottom of the oven and such in a plastic bag pour in ammonia and seal it up over night. Always seemed to work. (not for aluminum though) Maybe a Dremmel with a brush wheel, maybe boil vinegar and baking soda in it for a while. If it is already ruined what have you got to loose? I have also gone nuts trying to clean things that needed to be just tossed. I hope that is not the case here. None the less best wishes and safe cooking.

It almost sounds like a simple acid reflex thing perhaps you should drink more water and eat more fruits and veggies. The combination of these things can acually really help out the acid reflex its natural, its stuff that most people AVOID on the food pyramid and maybe if you already to these things then I have been no help Sorry! But always use common sense, if you are too miserable to work or to enjoy meals, or to sleep, and this happens frequently THEN GO TO THE DOCTOR

Can you stay up for 30 min. after taking the pills???
Means not laying down. Than you should be better over time.
You may want to mentioning this to your MD to help you heal your burned throat.
Heartburn is basically your stomach acids flowing up your throat.
Also your med's should not be mixed with alcohol!!! Bad idea with Zoloft. Have you tried taking a non - D allergy pill at night, since it can keep you awake longer?

how many times a day do you puke?? QUIT the booze, get your self on a regular diet with plenty of fresh fruit and veggies and whole grain breads and go easy on the heavy meats and fat.. Get into exercise to help burn off the poisons in your system, and get off the alegra and zoloft as soon as you can.. vitamins with iron don't hurt a normal system when taken with a little food,, but you have filled yourself with trash and need to clean up your act. You may have an ulcer-- you can tell if you are pooping or puking blood,, but first sober up before you go to the doc to find out if you have one.. Straight liquor will rot your entire esophagus out and destroy your liver.
