it is a1997 chev. 1/2 ton pickup with a 4.3 v6.I have already changed the fuel fillter and gas cap. IT runs fine with 1/2 tank.

check to see if you have a restriction or collapsed hose on the vent, if it is not venting it will create a vacum in the tank and I have also seen where a fuel pump had been changed and was not properly installed in the hold down bracket and after filling the tank it would push the pump to one side and kink the hose above the pump

02 sensor or i would try the fuel pump, could be going bad, my aunt had that happen to her, ran fine with a 1/2 tank but not with full.. also check your fuses and that they are good, sometimes fuses almost burn out or someone puts a smaller one where they need a bigger one, i would check your fuel pump though
