another thing that bothers me is that, she drinks, just stinks that someone you care about does something like that

So long as you are both over 18, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. My daughter's father was 10 years older than me. We got along quite well for the time that we were together. The key to being with someone older than you is to not bring attention to it if it can be helped. The other person may begin to feel uncomfortable about the fact. Also, be sure that you and her have things in common. 5 years isn't too far of a distance that you wouldn't like a good deal of the same things. Also, people say that women mature faster than men, so make sure that if you are interested in her and want her to be interested in you, that you don't remind her of some kid. You want to act mature, even if you are in your 20's, try not to act immaturely. Also, if she has a job and her own place and all that, and you don't yet, be sure that you make it known that you aren't interested in her so that she can take care of you, you are interested in her for who she is... not what she has.

Depending on how old you are, go for it. No point letting a girl get away just cause she's older...unless your 16 or younger.

well it's hard to say you didn't say what your age is.......if your of age and you and have things in common get along good ....i don't see what the problem is, if people want to be judgemental let it be. i've went out with someone a few years younger than me and we got along great..... it bugged some people but that is their problem. its up to you and her nobody else. hope things work out for you....... go talk to her and see what happens

If you are of a muture age you could try and approach her but if you're not I think you should just try to find for an other girl!!
