It seems like black people take things that are free. Like they jump on it, while whites have more pride not to.

I've noticed that, too. And not only that. Blacks often DEMAND free stuff, and they'll sometimes take it illegally if it isn't given to them legally. And if they get into trouble for taking it illegally, their friends will riot and burn and break things until the city government gives in and gives them lots and lots of Official Free Stuff, plus taxpaid replacements for what they burned and broke during their riots. It's happened in Cincinatti, Benton Harbor, Detroit, Birmingham, Los Angeles, Toledo, Seattle, New York, New Orleans... you name it.

That just not true. The MAJOR disparity between group crime rates is race, not poverty.

Poverty cannot possibly be the root cause of the disparity between Black and White rates for violent crime. According to the US Census, 11.2% of American Whites and 29.0% of US resident Blacks lived in poverty in 1995.

Yes, a higher percentage of Blacks than Whites are poor. But how many poor Whites and poor Blacks are we talking about? In 1995, there were 218.3 million American Whites and 33.1 million US resident Blacks, which shows (after multiplying by the respective percentages) that there were 24.4 million poor Whites and 9.5 million poor Blacks living in the United States that year.

Excluding the Mexicans, poor "Americans" were 72% White and 28% Black in 1995. Poor Whites outnumbered poor Blacks by a ratio of 2.57 to one. If poverty were the fundamental cause of violent crime, as the liberals say it is, then for each 100 murders in the US committed by Blacks in 1995, about 257 murders would have been committed by Whites. But that isn't what happened.

The fact is that about 55% of the murders in the United States in 1995 were committed by Blacks. In other words, for each 100 murders committed by Blacks in 1995, only 82 murders were committed by ALL non-Black groups combined.

Even if you were to assume that Whites committed all of the murders in the United States that Blacks did not commit in 1995, the Whites could only be responsible, at most, for 82 murders for each 100 murders perpetrated by Blacks. And keep in mind that there were 6.8 times more Whites than Blacks in America in 1995.

These facts are in conflict with a prediction that can be reasonably drawn from the liberal theory, which is therefore wrong. Poverty isn't the cause of Black violence, and the famous "poverty causes crime" hypothesis is a liberal myth.

Just to check, in 1998, 10.5% of American Whites and 26.5% of American Blacks lived in poverty. The Census Bureau estimates that there were were 223.0 million White Americans and 34.4 million Black US residents on July 1 of that year. At that time, then, there were 23.4 million poor Whites and 9.1 million poor Blacks living in the United States. The poor were once again 72% White and 28% Black, setting aside poor people of all other races. In 1998 as in 1995, poor Whites outnumbered poor Blacks by a ratio of 2.57 to one.

Both the ratio of poor Whites to poor Blacks, and the per capita rate ratio, Black to White, for murder perpetration, remain rather consistent over the years. Poverty has not been causing crime. Poor Whites do not behave as poor Blacks behave. If you actually study the evidence and do the math, that's the conclusion you reach. The liberal "we are all alike" rhetoric is nothing but a deceptive myth that some people find comforting for moral reasons.

Which, of course, is what any racist could have told you. Liberals decide what the facts are by their feelings after consulting their favorite slogans, but racists use their minds and their eyes. The difference in violent behavior is a racial difference.

If you ask me all cotton products should be free to all african americans. Even tho you sound like a racist I kind of agree with you. Minoritys seem to look for free hand outs. Whats in the past is just that THE PAST and everyone needs to move on. Everyone should work for what they have and the only free things people should take is EDUCATION (K-12) College will never be free

well this seems an offensive topic to start with but here is the answer.

I am in a profession where I see all the races and their behavior closely.

1- Different people in different socio econonic groups may do same things in different style.
2- When it comes to poor class, statistically there are more crimes. But depends how you define crime? some time your need or intense desire pushes you to get some thing at any cost or way. Obviously those with more resources can get lot of things in life by paying for it.
3- Whites or blacks or hispanics etc. do not differ in their behavior on the basis of color but they differ on the basis of socio economic group.
4-Unfortunately, in this country, still there is lot of racial bias, weather we like it or not. States and Federal governament have programs to help less fortunate, but they are more biased toward certain groups.
5-Blacks may seem to be asking for lot of free stuff but in my experience I have seen the reverse. Whites not only try to get lot of free stuff, but they try to bully you or throw false threats of taking it to higher level and use lies and hypocratic means. Is this behavior just limited to whites, answer is NO, but I have noticed they get by easy compare to other races and are doubted less for their intentions and again they get lot of extra sympathy from others in higher position.
6- Its a shame, no matter how we put it. Hopefully human beings will follow to a system which is more fair.

i'm of a different race and i beleive its were u stand in society that determines wether ur gonna "jump" on free things. i have never "jumped" on free things, but maybe thats coz my parents have provided very well for me. dont undermine people like that. we aint all like that. u need 2 get out a little more and maybe you'll realise the world aint like that.
