I can understand migration for survival.But most of the immigrants from India are well educated and quite well off and are willing to compromise in a foreign land.This is strange.Why?.

I don't think they are true Indians those who migrate for ease of life.

It's really not strange at all. Indians migrate because they can. Their education and financial state allows them to do so, They know they can make a better life for themselves and their families. Exposure to TV and other communication has made it possible for people from third world countries to see how the rest of the world lives. Great Britain seems to be the country of choice due to India being a former colony and most speak English.

I live in the United States and I know and have known Immigrant Indians from India, from what is now Pakistan and from the Fiji Islands. Some were fairly well educated when the arrived and some were not. Some came here for the purpose of education here. But all of them have told me that they came here for opportunity.
Opportunity is something everyone wants. Opportunity to develop ones skills, to succeed, to get ahead, however you want to phrase it we all strive for opportunity.
An educated man or woman will leave a country for opportunity just like a an uneducated man. Your question seems to fault the educated man for leaving. But every Indian I have know has been a hard working, honest, decent person who simply wanted to have more opportunity for himself or herself and family. Also I have seen that they seem to have a great feeling of responsibility to family left behind as well as the Indian community here as well as the community at large. This is true of both Hindu and Sikhs that I have known. I do not see their lives as a compromise. They appear true to themselves and they honor the culture of which they are an integral part and from which they came while at the same time they take pride in their new community and in being also Americans.

there are 2 types of indian who go and settle in foreign contries..one who are really in need to make money and another who like u said are well off but still are willing to compromise in a foreign land..thing is that the second type is what v call NRIs. N like in nonreliable...so when they are nonreliables only then why discussing them?they are ashamed that they are indians and when they come back either to visit or to settle here they think them as bloody foreigners only..ironic..right?
u asked which contry is best...i guess to make money many contries are good but if u r running away from ur indianhood then outer world is good..east or west india is the best

That is really bad.The Indian Government spends a lot of money for education.But most engineers and doctors are going abroad to SERVE some other country. My best choice is India because I am an Indian, but I want to see other countries also., not to SERVE them.

first of all you recall what kind of people have migrated. then analyse their family ,their nature,their needs,their culture. an educated person does not mean he is necessarily civilised and cultured person.not all the people migrate have the same aim. but most of them have the ambition to earn more money ,want a safe life for their children, wants the luxurious life.i would like to tell about these type of people that they believe only in the external world ,whatever they see they beleive in it they can not understand the internal world(the God which is inside you).reason behind it they donot want to enjoy internal world because it needs a lot of hard work . but they want to give comfort to their body they forgot this body is not mine in fact nothing is mine it is being given by God.the very true fact is that if you sleep 10 hrs everyday you will be uncomfortable when you will sleep for 8 hrs in a day.if you have habit of sleeping for 6 hrs you will enjoy if you will sleep for 8 hrs. so body comfort depends upon how you mould your body. secondaly regarding safety one should know everything is predecided about death. if time is over , you will be dead anywhere. because it is the God wish how much he wants your stay in the world..they are thinking about own only. please do not understand that those who are NRIs donate a lot of money to india and are doing very good job because so many NRI's give justification like that,
but the fact is that india is suffering from other kind of problems which can not be solved by money. if it is so why the farmers could not stopped doing sucide. why polictics is becoming dirty and dirty, why corruption is continously increasing,why the whole government system is flopped , why so dirty reservation policies.
the most important thing is that these people migrate for satisfaction by changing place for money ,safety, luxuriousness. it is their mistake ,they can not satify by doing so . same as if you are not satisfied with one wife then i am sure you can not be satisfied with 100 wifes.
one more thing is that it is your duty to solve the country problem it comes under the religion your internal world says that one should pay the duty towards parents, family society, country .but people bypass it. you are born in India to serve it, to solve its problems,. but instead of serving the nation you leave it . india has all resourses you have to use your brain here to solve the problems but you do not want it .
i think it is not good to migrate. one looses his time of life in searh of satisfaction but he could not get it. for leaving life for the purpose of birth (For which God sent us here),one should stay in the coutry and should serve the nation.
