I go to two high schools and I volunteer at church and preparing for college so I get only four hours of sleep. I have just came from school and I am drinking coffee. I will probably have two more today. I don't think it is too much but don't take too much of that pills. And this was great question.

Yes, caffine is a drug and is habit forming and if you stop taking it by not drinking coffee or other caffinated beverages you can and will have withdrawl symptoms just like any other drug.

Is it good for you? Is any drug that isn't necessary for survival good for you? Not if it is habit forming like caffine is. It's an addiction just like smoking but with it's own set of side effects, some of which, under the right circumstances, can be life threatening.

Diapers? I too wear them, 24 / 7 due to a medical condition. Are you sure yours is a medical condition or just that you drink so many liquids and are so busy that you don't really have the time to go to the rest room. I'm not judging, I don't care either way, I enjoy wearing mine, I'm just not sure if you have to like I do.

Slow down some, you need to get some proper sleep/activity balance. Sooner or later your body is going to rebel and you are going to collapse either from exhaustion or stroke. Cut out a couple of your less critical activities, let someone else do it. You have enough on your plate for one person.

Good luck and God bless you.

Well, I say don't be a leader for so many things. One thing is enough. If part time job gets in the way, quit it or stop going to a club or two. Then you don't need as much coffee. Drinking too much coffee is bad. I think it's a drug since you can get addicted to it. I don't think you can quit classes now =/. Pretty much lessen the amount of work you have. You are putting too much stress on yourself.

"I can't live without it"......that should answer your question about being a drug. It is addictive.....so treat it as a drug. In small amounts it won't harm your body. In fact the body can benefit from some caffeine.

The downsides to drinking too much caffeine:

1) You can become addicted and rely upon it to complete your daily activities

2) It acts as a diuretic, serving to dehydrate the body. Obviously you aren't going to die from dehydratino due to caffeine. However, water is a huge part of you body and you MUST have water to survive. With that in mind, why would you want to feel dehydrated. The more water you drink the healthier you'll be.

If you NEED caffeine to get through all your activities you may want to consider that you have too much going on in your life. 4 hours of sleep is unhealthy. Caffeine should be limited to 400mg a day or less.

Caffine isn't good for you. It is a drug. Try going without it, you'll have withdrawls. You need to wean yourself off of it. Caffine can weaken your bones and teeth. It blocks your body's ability to absorb calcium. If you're young, then you should be able to get enough energy from eating properly. Its important to get lots of water. Even slight dehydration can drain you of energy.
Soda doesn't hydrate you properly because of the Carbon.

i'd say about 2 cups of coffee a day is the limit. my gosh, you got so much going on. personally i could not do what you're doing. btw any kind of pills which are chemicals are bad for you. ever considered taking supplements? Bcomplex, coenzyme Q10 ginko biloba are supposed to be energy boosters. you might wanna try some of that instead of caffiene pills.

1) Yes, caffiene is a drug, called a stimulant. It is called this because it stimulates your senses and nerves.

2) Bladder problem? If that continues, a doctor's appointment is advised seriously. Incontinence, kidney problems/failure, gout (a form of painful arthritis), and simular problems can occour, and be life-threatening if left untreated. Check with a doctor in any case.

Yes, caffiene is a drug and yes, it is possible to become addicted to it. You should consider cutting back on the amount of projects you have and relax

I believe having a lot of caffiene every day is harmful to your baby, but as for me I drank sodas every once in awhile while i was pregnant and everything was fine.

I also drink massive caffeine, same reason as you.
I don't think it's as bad as some may say.
I do drink about 16oz of water before going to bed, just to flush out my kidneys.
Hope this helps.
