There's no typical day for a child under 5!

To get her on a night schedule, try keeping her up during the day. Most babies sleep around 16 to 18 hours a day.

Here's the advice the ped gave me when my daughter was having this problem..pick out a time during the day where you wake your baby up and do your best to keep her mentally stimulated. After time she'll start doing most of her sleeping at night and not during the day.

My daughter was a day sleeper and would wake up at 1am and stay up until around 4. We started waking her up during the day and it helped within a week.

I have a 7 month old daughter, and at three months is when she first started to get into a routine/schedule. Try to get her accustomed to getting up/going to sleep at the same time each day. I've noticed that the more she sleeps (even today), the more she wants to sleep. A bath always helps her to fall asleep earlier.

You have to put your daughter on a schedule. It all depends on how much your baby eats at one time as to how long she will sleep. If your baby is full she will sleep for at least 3 to 4 hours. Is your baby on cereal? If not this will help fill her up and she will sleep longer. Check with your Pediatrician see if your baby can have cereal now instead of just formula.

Three month olds sleep a lot during the day and they need to. It's hard to regulate it because they will fall asleep during normal activities.

They need to sleep about 15 hours out of the day.

I think that maybe if you have a schudule. and you change it around a little like instead of when she wakes up feeding her right away. let her play for like five mintues then feed her or something may change her activity and when she gets tired.
