We might look different, or have many organ replacements, but our desire, emotion, and drive will never be obsolete.
We are not unworthy of this planet, the ruling party is, in any part of the world. If there were something watching us and decided to end our lives, it would be ignorant and more unworthy than our governments.

Why would something external to the planet bother with earth?
Possibly if we created some form of self sustaining artificial life, without control we could conceivably have a war with it, and loose. LOL

Amazonian Giant River otters. They live in cooperative family units. They have semi opposable thumbs. And they already express themselves in English more clearly and concisely than do you. Yup, once we self - destruct, the age of the Amazonian River otter will be upon the earth.
