My little sister loves horses and her b-day is coming up. She just got one of those cinderella TV and DVD players but has no DVD's to watch. I thought I would get her some DVD's.

The best thing about the movie I think is that the animals isn't able to talk, this makes the whole movie more honest and makes a better impression on both kids and the adults so 10/10 from the kids and me

Well not disney but... Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is a great horse movie by Dreamworks....... Also, Black Beauty, The Black Stallion and The Black Stallion returns...... A new version of My Friend Flicka(called Flicka), is being released in 2006, I dont know how good it will be but the book is. Misty, is based on the book "Misty of chincoteague" and is a good movie. The Silver Stallion: King of the Wild Brumbies is also a really good movie. As far as I know there is no DIsney movies solely about horses..... so I hope this helps you out.

Spirit and Dreamer are really good ones. Black Beauty is very sad and it scared me a little when I was a little girl and one of his owners was beating him/working him too hard. There is also a movie coming out in theaters called Flicka. It won't be out on DVD, but it might be fun to take her to the movie in theaters.

My 6-year old daughter loves Spirit, The Young Black Stallion, Hidalgo, and Seabiscuit.

A tough to find non-Disney, Unicorn movie which is fabulously good and great for little girls (I totally grew up on this!)
The Last Unicorn
Check it out, amazing pictures and Mia Faro is the voice of the Unicorn.
