Definitely see a doctor! In the meantime, check this site for a video (it's an OK one, I guess) about how to perform an informal exam.

I missed the part about losing patches of hair. Now you REALLY need to take him to a doctor to get this checked out. It might be nothing, but you can't take chances with this stuff.
Good luck!

There always is the possibility of it being cancer. I know it would be hard to tell but if the knot is painful then it is less likely to be cancer, however if it is non-tender then it is more likely cancer. The easiest option is to go to the doctor and have a biopsy done. I am sure it will be hard to talk him into going to the doctor but it is better then the other option of losing everything. He is alson in the age group for testicular cancer.

My husband found 2 on his left testicle. He went to the doctor and had an ultrasound. Turned out it was just harmless calicum deposits.

You should get it checked out tho. Cause you never know.

Probably part of the anatomy. Check www.WebMD.com or tell him to see a doctor. The doctor's opinion is what really matters - not Yahoo.
