You must be REALLY confused! Jesus and God are both imaginary creations, like the Easter Bunny and Casper the Friendly Ghost! Pick up a book and read, for god's sake! (the imaginary one, I mean!)

Confused huh... ? Well, do yourself a favor and get smart.
When you're looking for the answer to the "God" question, try to keep in mind that the explanations you'll be given from all sides, believers and non-believers alike, Jews, Christians, atheists, devil worshipers, etc., don't have all their facts perfectly sorted out. (I'm included... and so are you. We're all searching for the truth.)
As for the Jesus story; it's a relatively simple one. He was born right here on earth by a 'virgin' (figure that one out..??) whose name was Mary and she somehow was impregnated by God even though he never left heaven and she was married to another guy, Joseph, an ordinary earth-man and not a god, (... it's another one to figure out, eh... ??) and then he, (Jesus,) was killed on a cross but he only stayed dead for three days. (Tricky guy, huh?) ...he came back to life but he didn't stick around - he went to up heaven to sit next to his dad and wait for people on earth to die off so he and his Dad, (God,) could either keep them in heaven if they were good folks or send them to Hell if they were bad. And that's about the long and the short of the story except that he, (Jesus,) is expected to come back to earth someday... So far, there hasn't been a whisper of him anywhere even though people keep praying like crazy... and we're at two thousand years and still counting.
Now God, (the Dad,) is a better story... He was the start of everything that there is, the stars the moon, the earth, everything - he made it all from nothing - (Got that part? Okay, but don't ask who made God because that's a big "No no.")
Okay... here's how people came into the story: God made one man and one woman - they had kids, all boys, and then the boys had kids of their own, (I guess they had them with their mother,) and we all came from the bunch of them - all a lot of in-breads, aren't we?
So... there you go. I hope you're a little less confused about these particular stories. They're a tad more difficult than the Christmas Santa Claus thing - North pole, flying sleigh, free gifts - but easier than guessing why a bunny rabbit would be made responsible for painting and distributing boiled chicken eggs at Easter time, ( ...a time when Jesus was so laid back that he let the Romans kill him on a cross and then came back to life afterward anyhow... Pretty tricky, huh?)
I don't blame you for being confused. Check this out. It's something to think about:

Yeah Jesus is God because He is also our God the Father and God the Holy Spirit... familiar with Trinity? God in three persons! It's quiet deep, but you know try to open the Bible and you will know (Don't forget to pray for enlightenment). Jesus is God the Son; He came into this world to save us from our sins!

Jehovah is God
“Jehovah” is the best known translation of God's name as found in the Greek and Hebrew scriptures.
His SON'S name, as it appears in the Hebrew Texts, ( Matthew thru Revalations ) is Jesus with Christ being his title, like 'lord'.
Jehovah sent his son Jesus, to live on earth and die as a perfect man. This was to prove tha tit could be done. Jesus did this in order to 'balance out the scales' and die perfect and thus counterbalance the perfect life that Adam lost in Genesis when he ate of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. When Adam did this, and he and Eve were thrown out of the Garden, Jehovah God made a promise to Satan at that time that one day there would come one and that Satan would 'bruise him in the heel but he would bruise Satan in the head'. These 'bruises' would prove to be 1. The bruise in the heel = when Satan arranged to have Jesus Killed by the Jews. This may have appeared to be a death blow, but in actuallity it fulfilled several great prophecies and actually bought life in a future paradise earth for those that put their faith in Jesus Christ. See, when Jehovah said he would have mankind live in a paradise earth, and the problems arose in Eden; that didn't stop his plans- it only postponed them for a while. Jesus' death made a way for not only the Jews that would follow him, but then also the gentiles and others that would follow him as well to have life eternal in that paradise and for the dead who would be resurrected to live there as well.
2) The bruise in Satan's head also signalled a death knell to him, because at the time when Jesus would take over for a thousand years in heaven and rule there with his appoint number of followers, there would be a casting down of Satan and then a great war would take place between good and evil , in which evil would lose greatly and, after that thousand years, be destroyed completely. That's quite a bruise to the head, no?
So you see, Jehovah is god. Jesus is his son. ALL the angels are Jehovah's sons, but Jesus is his firstborn, the first angel he created and he holds a favored spot in Jehovah's heart. There is a holy spirit, an active force by which Jehovah gets things done, but this is by no means to be taken as an equal to Christ or Jehovah and certainly is no part of a triune Godship. This trinitarian teaching is a part of false religion that has been brought into many parts of christendom thru the allowance of Pagan influences in the attempt to bring more 'sheep' into the fold by whatever means nessecary. ( Other beliefs that have been brought in like this include- use of the cross , east and christmas teachings, idols , repititious prayers, rosaries, inscence, candles, teachings of the immortal soul, heaven / hell doctrines that are not to be found in the Bible, the theory of 'once saved, always saved', the immortal soul, infant baptism,
baptism by sprinkling rather than full immersion as taught by Jesus, tallismens against evil spirits, and I could go on. )
It sounds to me that you were approached and spoke with a Jehovah's Witness. If you were intrigued by anything that I have said or that they said, get back in touch with them. We are some of the most intense Bible students you will ever know. We never stop studying it. They can answer all the questions you have. Just look in the phone book under KINGDOM HALL and think about attending a Sunday meeting. There won't be any screaming or jumping up and down or nonesense like that. NO Passing of the money plate at ALL.
A sunday would be like this;
first a song, then a prayer, then a brother will give a talk on a current topic that would be of value to everyone in the Hall, it'll last about 45 min, then another song and then they will go over a Watchtower article where a reader will read the paragraphs to be studied and a conducter will ask the questions and those who raise their hands will get called on to answer the questions printed at the bottom of the page. Then another song , prayer and its over. Nothing intimidating about it. You will be more than welcomed and you might even get asked out to lunch with someone! LOL

well there are people who have different beliefs, but jesus was actually the son of god god created jesus to stop what was going to happen in the future and jesus has saved us all from what the devil was about to do that was not to exciting but god looked at for jesus, alot people thought god and jesus were the same people, but then again why would god lie about his name because jesus is not god's name, look in the bible for his real name, but god did give jesus powers that he could handle on his own.

Jesus is not the Almighty God.He is the son of God but not the Almighty...many people are confused because no one wants to tell them the truth. Also there is nowhere in the bible where the word trinity is mentioned or where Jesus said that he was equal to the father.
The bible is so clear on who the Almighty is,his name, who Jesus is and also what the holyspirit is.

Ok, this might sound a little confusing, buuuut
There are 3 parts of god:
- The father (God)
- The Son (Jesus)
- The Holy Spirit (random, not sure which one he is)
I think of them as one body with 3 heads....
good luck figuring that one out!

Jesus is the son of God, not God. His divinity is the only thing that was in question and that was decided at the Council of Nicea in the 5th(?) century. Some people have confused that decision to mean Christ is God -- he is not.

WHY ARE YOU ASKING STUPID MAN!!!!! The Bible says the heart is evil and desperately WICKED above ALL things.
Do what the Bareans did in the Bible when Paul preached to them.... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURE TO SEE WHETHER THESE THINGS BE SO!!!
So I will tell you that Christ IS GOD... Jesus said, John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
Now notice that people will tell you that Jesus meant in agreement not in phisical means, but then WHY did the Jews try to stone Him??? They knew EXACTLY what He was saying.... also,
Notice when people fall down to worship Peter or Paul, they rebuke that person and say NOT SO!!! But when people fell and worshipped Christ... He rebuked them not
Now go and search the Scripture and see whether these things be so. Ac 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
