Rob since I don't practice lying and stealing to make a living, I have to work a second job to keep up with the Republicans inflation. I had to drop out of College this semester because of the inflation. I need an extra 5000 dollars from when I originally started. I don't see any way to get it, but to stop and work and hope to be able to return. My mother said this happened when Reagan was President too with his inflation.

Extremely. Think about it. People are getting upset about others refusing to get off their "lazy butts" and work. Here is the problem: What is the incentive? If they are on Welfare, they receive assistance for child care, Medicare, housing, utilities, etc. When they work, all assistance is gone. No insurance, they have no one to help them take care of their child, and there is no assistance with housing and utilities. They are making minimum wage while the inflation rate keeps skyrocketing. If there is no way they can take care of themselves when they get off of Welfare, then what is the use? This country has got to start finding out ways to allow people the opportunity to live, and not just live paycheck to paycheck...

yea, i suppose it is, especially in my line of work where i haven't asked for a raise in five years, but prices have gotten higher. I dont know what to do because they possibly would get someone else if i asked for a raise, right? I bought a hose a few months ago so proud of myself, but budgeting is tight, and NOW the housing market has fallen and the same house I bought is now almost 20,000 cheaper than it was just three months ago. I'm depressed

Boy, you hit the nail on the head with this one. It is hard just to keep my "head above water". Prices and cost of living and business operation cost keep going up but income doesn't. Put ontop of that the damn taxes. School tax really burns me up especially since I've never had kids yet I have to pay over $3,000.00 each year. Then people who rent don't have to pay any! What's up with that?

Yes,
The rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer. The middle class is disappearing.

Yes, thanks to the highest level of taxation in our short existance as a government.

Thank you Bush, Thank you Clinton and Thank you all Republicrats and Demicans. You tax and spend and wonder why families, which have both parents working to sustain your taxation, have become disfunctional and produce disfunctional children.

It's because wages are not getting higher while prices increase phenomenally.

Bush doesn't know squat about this economy, yet he says that it is getting stronger.
