Don't know if a recycling center would take it, a second-hand store may take it especially if it's unopened (but not too old). You can either call a recycling center or ask at you local hardware store on what they do (besides putting it on sale). Whatever you do, don't through it in the sewer or down the drain or in the ground.

If you go to a paint store or hardware store, you can buy a product that will cause the paint to harden like a rock. Don't remember the name of it, but they can steer you to it. After it hardens you can safely dispose of it.

Buy a large canvas and imitate Jackson Pollock. You never know...you will get rid of the paint and might discover you're an artist...become famous, make tons of money, and die of alcoholism.
