Do I need to be a lifetime Apple user to work for Apple?
Put simply, no, you don't. Many serious Apple fans want to work for Apple. While there are benefits to hiring someone who knows Apple's products and history inside and out, hiring people with diverse backgrounds and experiences helps us build a stronger team for developing products in today's competitive computer market. A passion for Apple products is one thing. But a passion for quality, attention to detail, and collaboration is what we look for. The rest comes naturally.
What is the best way to find an open position?
Visit the Search section of our website to look for current openings. If you like, you can create a search agent to notify you via email as new opportunities become available in the your areas of expertise. You can identify job openings based on keyword, location, category, and job type. A search agent allows you to narrow and define your search so that you can find the job that best suits your abilities and interests.
The keywords I entered did not find any open jobs. How can I find the jobs I'm looking for?
You might be searching with a keyword that is too specific. For example, if you are searching for Graphic Design you could try searching for Marketing, as the Graphic Design department falls within the Marketing division. The more general you are in your search, the more results you will see.
It is also possible that there are no open positions in the field you are searching for. We are always posting new jobs to the website, so check back frequently.
Do you have any part-time positions?
Yes, we have many part-time opportunities throughout the organization, particularly in our Retail, AppleCare, and Sales divisions.
I've submitted my resume. What happens next?
We will send you an email confirmation letting you know that we have received your resume. If your skills are a match for an open position, we will notify you and set up an interview. We keep resumes are on file for future opportunities.
Do you need people to test or provide feedback on Apple products?
Apple hires quality assurance engineers for internal product testing. You may apply to become a Quality Assurance Engineer through our website. We also create focus groups to provide feedback on our products. We do not accept applications to participate in any focus groups.
