you can tell the police and her parents for her first of all though you must know that i have been in a similar situation and this is not going to be easy because even if you do tell them all that they can do is question her if she denies it then that is it that is all that there is to it and they use alot of scare tactics that keep alot of victims from telling all that really should be told also depending on how long it has been since this happened and i am assuming it has been atleast a week they will do a rape kit (only within 72 hrs of the attack) this is going to be very uncomfortable for her and when they get the names of the assailants they will check their records (assuming that they are not minors) now from here is where it gets tricky in the case that i had to go through with my bff when they found out that his record was clean it all went down the drain and there was nothing else done about it but it could go as far as court and jail time for the sick baztard that done this to her but i dont know if she will be that lucky. there will be social workers involved and if she doesnt tell her mother then they will they usually involve state cops and an investigator of some type i hope you all the best of luck and the best thing that you can do is encourage her to talk to these people tell her that they know where she stands and how scared she feels and that they will do everything possible to keep her safe good luck and may god be with you

Your right she should tell the police everything at least if nothing happen there will be a report on him. But she should definitely tell her parents so they know why she feels that way. The more people she tells around her the more support she will have. It would be great that all creeps get caught but the more people she tells and is surround by people that know. He would know that if he trys to doing anything else to her there would be people that would protect her from him. Beut definely report him. Because someone else may not have the support friends like you.

Honestly if I were you I would keep telling her she needs to go to the police and tell her everything is gonna be ok and if she still doesnt do anything unfortunately you may have to take the situation into your own hands and tell the police she may be upset at you at first but if she is smart she will thank you in the long run because your right stuff like that cant go on because it WILL get worse!!!

Yeah, she needs to report them for sure. She also needs to tell her parents and the other adults in her family. She needs to tell aunts/uncles/grandparents/etc what these cousins are doing. She should also stay away from these family get togethers if no one is going to do anything about the cousins. She shouldn't put herself in a bad situation. Either that, or maybe next time she goes she could take you with her, so you can keep her company and keep an eye on her.

I think that she is the one that must tell the police. If you go alone to the police, you don't know if your friend will back you up, or decide to stand with her family and say that it's nonsense. Or she might just feel pressured.
Tell her that you will go with her, be with her, and understand whatever decision she makes. Her parents will not have any trouble with the police, since they can't be with her all the time (even if they were close to her).
Take care

They had a story like that on Montel... that's sad, and i don't really know what to say, but the first girl who answered had a good point, if you don't come forward about this, there is a good chance that she will not either. At this point, with her being under 16 still, i think it has a better chance of getting resolved than if she waits till she's older, and it happens again.

You have to tell the police for her. You have to be the hero in this situation, you can't just stand back and let this continue that would make you a coward. What would Jesus do?
