I have a song I want to e-mail my wife and I was wondering how you accomplish that? The song is on a cd that is currently playing in my computer.

depending on your settings the song may be automatically copying to your library. if not the rip it using your player.
if your in media player right click the song and it Will take you to the folder where its stored. or have a look in my music
Once you find the file right click it and an option is email with yahoo. alternatively you can open your email and attach it as you would any file

You have to rip (convert) the song to .mp3 format.

Some burn programs do that, some don't.

There are free programs out there... watch your answers and I'm sure someone will give you a dl site.
