there is a very long list....depends on the genre u like.....
Sadly not many first person shooting come out on PS2... but here are some of the very best.....
Black, Area 51, Killzone..... there are some of the very best third person action games like god of war(warning:lot of voilence and some nudity), shadow of the colossus(if u own a PS2 and dont have this game then throw ur PS2 away), devil may cry 3, ratchet and clank up your arsenal, ratchet and clank deadlocked, need for speed most wanted, jak 3, jak 2, final fantasy 9, 10 and 11, GTA series. Well that should keep u busy for another six months..and any other question n PS2 drop in.

The Grand Theft Auto series is without a doubt, the most popular series for PS2. Time Splitters and SOCOM are also fun shooters.
Tekken and Gran Turismo are also very popular Playstation titles.

Get the Dirgue of Cerberus, its FF VII but Vincent's side of the story but you go through the game shooting stuff like resident evil or silent hill.
