However, it was not under new management because I shot the previous owners.

You may want to check some of your facts. If you have one thing wrong, it makes your entire thesis invalid. . . . Tiger Woods' mother is Philipino.

Being formerly at war with the former govt of a country doesn't mean we can't have diplomatic and trade relations with a new different govt that occupies the same territory.
Or have you never eaten at a restaurant that was under new management?
{EDIT} The anlogy still holds. Perhaps even more so. If you killed the previous owner, so that someone else would take over, all the more reason to be willing to deal with the new owner.

America is an infant compared to the history of homo sapeins. Full of bravado with little knowledge. Many an empire has fallen, and we are on our way. The cocky bull that so many put forth is just the obvious precursor for our demise. Granted there are many thoughtful intelligent Americans, but they are not so loud as the ones who will really propagate our destruction.
