This is the long-term goal of the Chinese. Do not doubt it.

Currently, we are pumping billions of dollars into the Chinese economy, so that we can buy stuff from Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, etc.

China is growing at an incredible rate and modernizing its army and more importantly its Navy and Airforce.

The Chinese are a patient people and will launch their plan according to Sun Zu principles, when the victory is assured before the first bullet is fired.

Pay attention folks, the Chinese Navy is the key. The Chinese currently have the ability to gain and maintain air superiority over Taiwan, but the 100 miles between Taiwan and the mainland poses a logistical problem for occupying and securing Taiwan in a lightning strike.

So here's the juice, the Chinese will build their navy until they believe it is capable of enabling them to successfully attack, occupy and secure Taiwan before a US Naval Task Force can respond. They know if they can't take the island within a week's time, that the US by treaty will have to come to the support of Taiwan.

If however, Taiwan falls swiftly and the Chinese can consolidate their power and make the whole deal look like a Hong Kong, well then, the US will be off the hook and can avoid an unpleasant and undesired conflict.

So people, if the thing must be done, let's hope for all involved that the Chinese do it quickly and bloodlessly.

It is the wish of every Chinese people that all Chinese live under one roof - one nation. Trying to split the Chinese will only sow great resentment. USA is using Taiwan as a bargaining chip
for political gains when dealing with China.

yes i do ... and if you want to know the absolute truth ... this is THE reason we are in the middle east ... america has sworn to defend taiwan ... china is moving militarily and openly confesses plans to assimilate it ...AND has threatened to retaliate with nukes if the US interferes ...this is THE pivotal issue ... a clash of civilizations with the US and China is coming.

Taiwan has its own sovereignty and should not be annexed by China. US will not allow it to happen.

I don`t think we can do that much about it all China has to do is call up the money we owe them and bye bye US economy
