Well I had never heard of that until I looked it up... why in the world would you need to take emergency birth control at all let alone 2 times in a cycle... havent you heard of birth control?

Missy, Have you not heard that you no longer need a period. There is one kind of Birth Control that you get a period once every four months. A morning show had women that has not had a period for over 5 years. She did not stop taking BC pills she took them every day. You should check with your doctor before starting this kind of therapy. As far as your question ----you should check with your doctor before listening to anyone who suits your fancy. I have taken BC for over 30 years, if I stop my left leg swells up and I got a Blood Clot in my upper thigh. I am ok since I started taking BC pills, It took over several weeks for the swelling went down. My doctor has put me on the patch 50/140 If you are using the patch as BC you should be very careful. The patches can come off even through the instructions are wrong. Eye makeup remover seems to work better then cold cream to remove the circles of gunk which the patch leaves.
