well whatever you are feeling or saying is only human
all of us care what others feel or think about us
somepeople care for very few while others care a bit more
like in your case
you see... all of us want to be accepted...
and making others happy nad knowing their positive feeling for us we are ensured that we are on a right path
all these things are a reminder tosatisfy ones own self that we are good humans
its a good thing that we try
but you see
letting this thing take you over
and you altering yor personlaity and you life just to make them happy doesnt quite seem wise
the only person you need to satisfy is yourself
you need to know that you are what everyone would want become or be with
love your self and they will loveyou back
dont destroy what you have found in you i.e. all thegoodness that one can gather in one lifetime
dont
just be you
be true and just be you
there are very less people here on earth that actually care about others....
this feeling that what others think about you....could be a mere insecurity that people cans ee through you
trust me they cant
they only see what you let them see
and may be deep down in all this acceptance issue all that you are worried about is you
no offense
the thing is you have to come out of this world of assumptions they are seldom true and they lead you in believing illusions
and it can lead into a longterm damage
so be true to yourself
try thinking what do i think about you
and when you think you are ready to spend a lifetime with yourself
then trust me you are out of this web of "what is he thinking about me..."

You should read the studies of Pavlov (sp). It's something your parents and teachers and such told you was the right way to be. Not that that is bad of course, just familiar, and easier. Try to take a second every time a situation comes up and guage whether or not you actually need to be nice. If someone says can I have a dollar for something and it was supposed to be for a soda for lunch just tell them it's for lunch. If someone needs a ride and you have time but no gas than say so. Keep in mind also that people are here to help eachother (use and be used). Like your job, they use you for production and you them for money, or your friends sometimes use you to vent after a stressfull day and so on.

you reading people too much. don't worry about their feelings on you. it seems you want to have a good impression all the time, which isn't that possible . . . not unless you have an attachment on that person. let's say- a family member that you don't want to disappoint or a lover whom you want to make sure loves you. . . it is normal as long you don't worry about the feelings of everyone you meet

I think that everyone so far except for boo boo was right. You may want to step outside of your shoes and watch yourself closely. Listen to the words that you use. Sometimes, we can brain wash ourselves by using certain words too much. That will eventually create negative self talk.
For example: Year after year, word by word, your life script was etched. Layer by layer, nearly indelibly, your self-image was created. In time, you began to believe that which you have been told by others and what you have been telling yourself was true. In time you became what you most believed about yourself.
Did you know that research has shown that 70% of everything we think is negative?
Human behavior, That's something you can get a degree in without ever really figuring it out. It is also something that older people seem to know more about than younger people.
The bottom line is, you will become what you think about most. The brain simply believes what you tell it most. And what you tell it about you, it will create. It has no choice. So stop telling yourself that you worry more about others than you do about yourself.

Don't be so sensitive... care about their feelings but stop thinking about if you have made a good or bad impression on them. there will be people who like you for sure and then there will be people who won't. So forget about what people think and move on in life.

It is a natural human concern we all have, despite what others may say about not caring what others think, when the truth of the matter is that they do care. We all want to be accepted, we all wear a sign that says we want to feel special. So no worries, you are not alone and it is totally naturally to care what others think

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF THAT IS ALL THAT MATTER. IF YOU CAN NOT FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN LOVE/LIKE YOU FOR YOUR GOOD BAD AND UGLY (THAT MEANS ALL ASPECTS OF YOU, THEN YOU DON'T NEED THEM) BABY GIRL YOU ARE A QUEEN AT HEART AND AS A QUEEN YOU SHOULD BE TREATED.AND...UNTIL YOU CAN TREAT YOURSELF LIKE A QUEEN THEN NO ONE ELSE WILL SEE HER.

We are comparing creatures. Someone is always better or worse at something. Confidence is knowing who you are. Accept the things you cannot change. Change the things that you can. And pray for the wisdom to know the difference.
