i am a child of and adopted father and would like to find out my real last name how would i go about finding out this information?

It was your father that was adopted? If that's the case, you have no rights to his records.

talk to his adopted parents and see if they might know his last nasme or see if you can find out the adoption agency and talk to them about getting a birth certificate
