When I was having sex a few days ago with my boyfriend, my hands, arms, legs, and face went numb and started tingling. My hands and part of my mouth became paralyzed, and I felt as though I was going to pass out. I was not near an orgasm. My speach sounded like I was drinking alcohol and I was very confused. It lasted about a half hour. I am very comfortable with my boyfriend, and he did not cause me to be nervous or scared in any way. I am not on any medication, am 21 years old, and very healthy. What could have caused this?

you might not be as healthy as you think, it sounds like a mini stroke and i would see a doctor about it.

The symptoms you have stated are all classic signs for a stroke attack. You should be thoroughly examined by a good general physician immediately. If anything abnormal is found, you should then be referred to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment. You are young and appear to be healthy. That does'nt mean you should take things for granted. What happened was probably a warning signal your body wanted to let you know that something is wrong somewhere.

You say you weren't near orgasm, so that actually makes this concerning...
I suspect it had to do with increased blood pressure, but you could have an aneurysm or some other brain pathology. Set your embarassment aside and see your doctor!

When you say you went numb and started tingling sounds like you were going to have an orgasm. Such you said you weren't maybe you were just tired. If it happens again go see a doctor to see whats going on.

Maybe its the size of his wanker. Maybe he's got a snake bigger then you can handle and you just got all paralyzed....idk. Yea I suggest going to see your doctor.

It is something fairly common called little death or petit mort, it is an increase of blood pressure and is very scary.

that happened to one of my friends the first time she had sex with her (now husband)....she went to the ER and they said that it was a panic attack...I don't know if it ever happened again.

you should see your doctor about that. there might something wrong with you. maybe youre over fatigue
