Go to a gym and talk to a personal trainer. Depending on the trainer it's usually around $30 an hour, but trust me it'll be better for you in the end. A personal trainer will show you how to use free weights and body building equipment properly to maximize your workouts and keep you from hurting yourself (which is very easy to do). A trainer can also inform you on what foods you need to be eating and nutrition supplements you need to be taking. They can also let you know when you're ready to start competing (if that's what you want) and how to get into professional bodybuilding. You really need to know what you're doing when you start bodybuilding. You don't have to take my advise, but you should.

The first thing you need to do is make a committment... its one thing to ask how to become a bodybuilder... its a whole other thing to actually go about doing it...

Its also a long road, results take a long time, most likely a few months, its also not just about physically lifting big weights, its also a "beaty" contest in some ways, about symmetry, shape and aesthetic appeal... and not only that... but you have to maintain very healthy eating patterns...

Discouraged yet?... I hope not... of course I could go into mentioning that bodybuilding is often painful too, that you build muscle by "breaking" it first but the benefits, that pain becomes a friend, for many it becomes a burn that is enjoyable... you'll also likely gain alot of confidence and a higher libido (both of which can be a double-edged sword depending on your personality), and you'll also be fitter and healthier than most, thats got to be a good thing...

Other than that, all I can really say is... good luck :) and....
the kind of places I personally would go first is: www.bodybuilding.com - theres probably many other good diet/exercise/bodybuilding sites out there.

First I would go check out some natural shows. See what they are all about. You have to be dedicated to this. It's something you can't take lightly and think you can do this as a side hobby.

Check out www.steroid.com I know you want to do this naturally but look at the diets section and the training sections. This is what you'll have to do in order to be at that level. The workouts and diets are the same for natural and un-natural bodybuilders. If you think you're ready to give it your all then find a trainer that has competed and they'll guide you through your quest.

goodluck

Start lifting weights or something. Be sure though to check with your doctor to see which exercises are appropriate for you. Also maintain a healthy diet and exercise your entire body, and be sure to do flexibility training as well. Good luck! :-)

pickup things to start with.. Like the phone and call a trainer and then pickup the check book because it is going to cost you big time. You might want to keep the doctors number on speed dial too. With a pre written check for him.

It is a waste of your money forget it. It is like putting 20,000 dollars in a car makeing it look cool and then trying to trade it in. you are still only going to get so many miles out of it and it is still not worth anything more then it was before you put all that money in it.
