Depends where you are. It is illegal to own a firearm without a licence and handguns were withdrawn in Britain after Dunblane and Hungerford. You should check with your local police station about the amnesty for firearms and hand it in. Otherwise it could fall into wrong hands and end up killing someone, possibly even you. How did your uncle get it? It's probably illegally owned.

would need more info on it to give an accurate price..year, model so forth. but brand new mkIII goes for 650-700 depending on the dealer. hope this was helpful....
