I have an idea for a new reality show, but don't know where to start. What process do I need to follow?

Would love to get an answer from someone within the TV industry, or someone who has been through the same process I'm about to go through. I have looked at the websites of many TV networks, but they all say that they can't accept unsolicited program ideas. Do I need to work with a TV production company and then they pitch it to different networks? How does the whole process work? Would appreciate any insight. Thanks!!
