Malkin from the pens. he has been rated the next best thing in the NHL and without a doubt he will be the rookie of the year. Everyone is saying it. Mark my words.......crosby and malkin. Best 1-2 punch since gretz and mess.

Malkin proably will be. As to Jordan Staal, it will be hard for him to outshine a teammate, Malkin. Unless of course Malkin can't live up to the hype, which will be hard to believe since he has been playing in the Russian League. Staal may be the better TRUE Rookie, much like Crosby was the best TRUE Rookie(Ovenchick was drafted the year before but couldn't play because the lockout) but since will be Malkin's "rookie" year as well since it is going to be his first NHL season.

Phil Kessel because I'm basis. Also he's going to fit in well with Patrice Begeron, Brad Boyes, and all the others. Also I don't think Malkin is that shabby haha. He should fit well with Crosby. But I think Kessel and the Bruins have more potentail because the Penguins are lacking in the depth.

I believe it is Phil Kessel who got signed by the Boston Bruins. He is a national team player but hes also going into anorganization with a top line of young stars (i.e. Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, ect.) and will fit in perfectly. So he may not be the most skilled, but you can count on him to show up for the b's.
