My three month old daughter is settling into a routine but it is quite unpredictable. I would like to set up a schedule for her that is flexible yet fairly consistent. She is a breast feed baby and she eats about every three to four hours.

My daughter tends to stay up late and i am trying to reverse that. What is a typical three month old's day like?About how long do they stay up and how long do they nap for.

3 months old is too early for a 'schedule'. You should be 'on demand' with this infant. Feed when she is hungry and she will sleep when she is tired. A natural routine will establish itself after a period of time but DO NOT Force it. Do the same things everyday and be flexable. Baby may need more time with you since her mommy is sick. Your actual interaction with this little girl will do far more than giving toys or putting her in front of the tv. babies love mirrors so get a baby safe mirror and place it where she can see herself.

then, that is her schedule. People are unpredictable by nature. Don't try to schedule her life, just learn to go with the flow.

if you force a schedule on her she wont do it...she already has a schedule you just need to figure it out....i figured out my childs schedule and she was sleeping through the night at 2 months old. good luck!!

My best advice, live for her. She is only this little this once. You will know when you can do your errends and so forth. Trust your instincts.

God bless you.

dont try to force her into one- they usually fall into one( about 6 months or so-) on their own- she's still little ♥

you have to figure out how to mesh her feeding sched with yours. remember YOU are the one ultimately in control and it is up to you to do what is best for you AND her.
