George W Bush's Patriot Act defines people who disagree with him as being unAmerican. Last time I checked, the First Amendment gave us the right to free speech. And since I KNOW GWB was involved in the 911 MURDERS, I wonder, am I unAmerican for exercising my First Amendment Rights or am just another TRUE American citizen?

Basically, anyone who doesn't agree with those in power is challenged as being unworthy, or unpatriotic, or even in some cases accused of treason -- just for voicing dissent.

It's truly a sad commentary on our society that participation in the political process is attacked as being un-American. But, I suppose that's the way that all fascist dictatorships start.

Look around you.... we're making history, to fall of the last great democracy...

Personally I think we are all True americans, except for those that make such statements as you just did saying you KNOW GWB was involved in the 911 murders. that is disgusting, and it makes me sick to my stomach to know there are people that think like you do. I don't agree with half of what that man does but to say something like that is so evil and no REAL TRUE AMERICAN believes that, no matter how much hate you have for that man. but of course you'll be pissed at my opinion because you can't handle a differing opinion as well right? it's a little like calling the kettle black from both sides, so don't be a hypocrite if you dont like my answer

A REAL American? Someone who questions government for the betterment of this country. You are correct in the sense that if you agree with bush, you are considered un-American by the Neo-cons. The problem is they are un-American if you say something like that. This country was founded on disagreement & the right to speak it. Too many people in this country follow just because someone in the White House says so. My question is if you cannot question your government, aren't we more towards the people the government is supposedly fighting? After all, they follow blindly, and they will kill you if you speak up against them too...

TO TBABY: SInce you are quoting the bible, did you read in Revelations that the Anti-Christ was suppose to rise in power? I don't think God will be putting him or her there...

I never could figure out who and what is a Real American. I am still working on it, but I would guess that I will never know. I just know that Hamburgers are American, fast Food Restaurants and this sort. People, ??? I was told the Native Indians are the real Americans. I would say GWB is Un-American, wouldn't you say?

In determining whether or not you are a real American, if you are running afoul of Bush's pronouncements then you're definately on the right track. A real American cannot be a loyalist to King George.

You're certainly unamerican to accuse the US President without any proof to back it up - typical coffee shop gossip mongering American.

to me, a real american is an american who has a grasp of the principles and laws that this country was founded on and actively seeks to defend them and keep them unchanged, and actively seeks to destroy the enemies of those principles both foreign and domestic.

Yep, you're un-American. No one will ever know that you've had a lobotomy, if you wear a wig to hide to the scars and learn to control the slobbering
