Soup or Salad is good near the 1st Colony Mall. Healthy and inexpensive.
If you like Chinese food, Cafe East buffet is very good. It's on Hwy 6 and Dulles. Great price and you can pick what you like in terms of what is healthy.
There are a number of Thai restaurants. Thai Cottage is excellent off Sweetwater near the Kroger's in !st Colony (about medium priced). Try the Shrimp with chili sauce! or Sizzling Beef. Thai food is generally very healthy. IMHO
If you like Mexican food, Pico De Gallo is good. Not much atmosphere, but very inexpensive and lots of food. On Hwy 6, just south of Williams Trace in a small strip mall. (not necessarily healthy)
If you have some bucks to blow one night, try Carraba's on Hwy 6 just north of Hwy 59, great Italian food (somewhat expensive). Or try Pappadeux's on Hwy 59, just north of Hwy 90. Excellent food every time you order. Try the oysters and spinach fondue, boiled shrimp, any grilled fish, blackened fish, fried fish, very very good.(somewhat expensive, but worth it) If this does not sound healthy to you, you can order from a large menu, you'll find something good.
The competition for your eating out $ is high in this area. Lots of good places to eat. Have fun!
